Metrolink wanted to increase sales of their Weekly Travelcard – and actually there are great benefits of a Weekly for people who use the tram daily. It’s cheaper than buying a ticket every day, removes the panic at the machine just as the tram is arriving, it saves queuing and best of all, you can use it at the weekends too. So you can really maximise your seven days, which immediately brought to mind a song about a similar theme.

The ad coincided quite neatly with Craig David’s resurgence, too which provided unexpected chatter on Twitter.
