Being Family Campaign for Adoption campaign for Yorkshire & Humber Adoption Consortium.

Of the thousands of people who consider adopting a child, only a handful actually complete the process. So Yorkshire and Humber Adoption Consortium needed a campaign that would reach out to people who were unnecessarily ruling themselves out of adoption.

Our job was to dispel negative perceptions and tackle the barriers to adoption head on. We used real insights to tell stories of genuine fears and concerns, which gave us a distinctive, narrative copy style. This storytelling was supported with a charming illustration style, based on the naive qualities typically found in children’s books. The illustrations also gave stand-out in a category that traditionally uses photography of children.
